There is a broker that post's on craigslist every now and then you tell him what you want and what you have to pay and he can find your car (with in reason). He charges a flat fee of $1000 I believe, this covers his lic and overhead. The only catch is you have to be patient. I was using him until I found the perfect car (for me) in San Diego,.. I became impatient and paid a few extra dollars for it.

You have to be serious and have cash (ie cash eqv) or financing already lined up. PM me if you want his info.

edit: to clarify I got a 330ci,.. not an M but its the same market.

I don't see why you'd pay $1000 to have somebody find a 330ci for you? That's a pretty common car in California.......i could see maybe if you wanted a rare car or a certain color combo + options that made it exceedingly rare.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't that clear. He is a broker and purchases cars at auctions for much less than retail.

Honestly I would get something different. M3 really isnt a step up IMO but thats just me. Why not get another S2000 and not worry about a car payment? I would much rather have an S2000 with no payment than an M3 with a payment.

What about a Lotus Elise?
