CF hoods are not allowed in AS. Any modification to lighen the car takes you out of a stock class.

If you're looking to be competitive out there, you'll eventually have to get R-Compounds Unless you run in STX (Street tire class - I don't know if the S2000 would be grouped in there though?)
Best advice is seat time, seat time, seat time. If you can, try to catch rides with as many drivers as you can - you'll learn a lot riding shotgun. I learned a lot when I rode shotgun with 350Z Sean and Mitch. I still have a long way to go though!

I'm running street tires too, so don't worry!
KooLaid doesn't drive an S2K, I think his setup works with 15" front and 16" rear for his car.

Plus with the midget stock rear tires, I can destroy rubber that size. I rather not destroy my street rubber.
Also NSX EATS tires. I know the s2k does too, but not sure about the mileage though.
yes, stock is 15/16

NSX just has a more aggressive alignment and softer tires, I know NSX front tires go out before the rears. S2000 is the opposite with the rears going out first, generally get 10k miles on the rear without going to the track.
