Looks like the Cobalt pads won't be finished on time so I'm ordering some Carbotech race pads and some of their rotors for BW.

Gonna have to swap the entire braking system next week Off with the J's and back to the OEM set up.
Damn that sucks... But trust me, you'll like the Carbotechs XP10's front and rear!!

You better talk to the Carbotech guys... From what they were saying, the XP10's are about as aggressive as you want to get on a car the size of the S2000. The XP12's will engage ABS a lot sooner and are made for cars a lot heavier and with slicks. The XP10's I think would be perfect with the NT01's. Under really hard braking I could just about engage ABS but I think they'd be perfect for R compounds.

What we need is an '06 with hondata reflash! Check out Nick's dyno of before and after...
[QUOTE=nichigo,Sep 17 2008, 12:37 PM]Setup:

AEM V2 CAI
Berk Test Pipe
Comptech 63mm Dual Exhaust
Toda Exhaust Manifold
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket

The only difference between the plots below is the reflash.

Waiting for an answer from Carbotech regarding the compounds. I'll let you know what they say.

I was gonna try to get some Hawk HT-12 & HT-10 but it looks like Hawk discontinued the HT-12 compound. I wonder why? Maybe the Black replaced it or something?

I'm cool with sharing the garage. Are we all in the same group?

Update:
Per Carbotech the XP12 & XP10 combo would work fine with my application but since I've never used their products they suggest to start with the XP10 & XP8. If I feel that I need more bite its easier to move up than down.

Sounds good to me

Yeah AP2 rules. I want one now, there are just so many improved features. 2.2L, Tranny / Gearing, and rear suspension. Oh well. We'll just have to make my little AP1 just as fast

Just curious....
What do you guys think about stuffing a 275 on a 9 inch rim? Its with in the recommended range but its the smallest rim width. Maybe too much sidewall flex???

At any rate with my current set up there is definitely room to fit 275s with out making any other modifications. The only question is would it be benifical to run a 275s, both for fitment and footprint? Thinking that it might be interesting to try once the 255s are done......
