Thanks for the heads up. I've heard about this issue before and I'm not going to be pushing it hard as possible out there. This time out, since it's my first time, I'm focusing on getting to know the track layout and learning the right driving techniques. I'm sure I'll push it a bit, but this is just a gettign to know you session. Next time, I'll have the Wilwoods on and with DOT4 fluid.

Anyone want to help me install my Wilwoods and change out my brake fluid on Sunday?
I'm willing to help on Sunday.

I'm pretty sure i can get Charles to come thru with the vacuum pump so we can suck the old fluid out and bleed the air bubbles correctly.

i took a reading when i first got the gauge but i don't remember the results exactly. the difference in readings were minimal (1-2 psi). hard to say since my kragen gauge measured in increments of 2 and the longacre has increments of 1.

main features i like about the longacre is that it's easier to use, easier to read, and easy to release air

I'm totally up for that - check with Charles and see if we can do it at his place Sunday. Anyone (other than Charles) done this before? Not me. LOL I have the whole Wilwood front brake kit including new slotted rotors.

Gotta get (Motul) DOT4 brake fluid though....and I'm going to the Cal-Oregon game Saturday - crap!

Anyone know where to get any and can anyone pick up for me before Sunday? Shite!!!

Wonder if Andy is working Sunday?

1-2 psi is a fairly substantial difference ... good times

Ummm... I'm dropping by DA today after I get lunch... I gotta get the BBQ cover. Hit me up.

Usually you need to flush the system completely. like 4 -5 quarts usually. Then again DA is more efficient than myself!

Call me up if you can sir todd

If ur really that pressed for time i could prolly go get it.

Do you know what time he closes? It'd be best for me (read: less gas LoL) if i could go get it after work since its just a little more ways up 50 from me.
