Thanks for all the input guys!

Going to hire a lawyer and we'll see what happens.

Anyone know how much one would cost for this sort of thing?

I just hope I can afford all of this plus the fees to get my car out.

If you have the money get an attorney (A good one, not some shmuck) and expect to spend between $3500~$5000 (if you hire one of those $500 to fight your ticket attorneys you get what you pay for, a shmuck that will take your $500 and loose for you)

If you don't have the money then go buy this book

Fight Your Ticket & Win in California by David Brown

and READ it. It teaches you all the basics of how and what to do to avoid and or fight tickets.

yes even the intention that you may do something wreckless can get you this kind of ticket, even if your not moving. however, they will not usually tow you if your just revving etc.
Wow!
Thank you, pierceman.

not if the cop miss-filed something or did not do the whole job correct etc , laywers may get you off even if you were in the wrong... depends on how bad you want your car vs. not showing up to work etc....
All right. That's good to know.
Thank you again.
