shoot, it's time to reserve a room already? how much are each of those hotels? which is closer to the track?

Indeed, what's the full rundown on the hotel situation? What's the schedule of the event itself so we know how many nights to go for?

I was thinking of staying monday night and leaving tuesday morning since I'll be driving all day monday, I won't be looking forward to the drive home monday night. Does anyone know the plan for what's going on Monday? When does it finish?

Hey guys...we have made arrangements with the Embassy Suites in Monterey for 134 dollars per night. Up to three peeps per room.

It looks like a great hotel...and the normal room rates are at or just above 200 dollars.

We should be done at the track by 6pm for sure. Track time stops at 4:30 if I remember correctly.
