Sup guys, just wondering if any of you have rented a car for a month or two, and if there are any special cool deals to be had. Reccomendations to good places maybe? I may be without a car for awhile!

Call and speak to the branch manager and ask what vehicles @ what price on a monthly basis. After they quote the first, ask what else they can offer you. Sometimes if a car is not renting at a higher price, they will offer at a special lower price on a monthly basis.

I did a 6 week rental from Hertz.
Whoever you rent from make sure that you check out non-airport locations. You don't want to get stuck paying a month's worth of the extra fee that airports often add to rental contracts.

If this is an insurance related use(i.e. as a result of an auto acc) you can often have your adjuster request the discounted rate from the rental place even though your insurance co is not paying for the rental(as a courtesy). Just a thought.

I travel often for work and use only Hertz. When my car was in the shop following an accident I had a rental from Enterprise for 3 months.
Because my insurance has a deal with Enterprise that's who I had to rent with, be careful though, I find that half the stores are looking very hard to find any little nicks and scratches to charge you for (if you don't have the extra insurance). If you don't get the insurance make sure you detail every item before signing the car out.
Hertz is awesome, get a membership and rack up points. With a 2 month rental you'll def get some free days out of it. Double up your discount if you have AAA. Triple dip your discounts if you have a credit card that issue FF miles or cash back. I find Hertz to be very reward friendly with their partnerships.
The selection of cars at Hertz I find to be more classy, Enterprise overall is more ghetto to me.
