Unquestionably the Raiders were the premier team, constantly dominating the AFC West. That's all in the past though. The bad boy image and continued dominance died with Alzado

Boz was a genius at hype but a flop in the NFL...Probably the most overrated player in NFL history.
I was at the Coliseum for the AFC Championship game, Raiders vs Seahawks. That was pretty much the end of Zorn's career and the begining of Kriegs. I also had my daughter with me who at the time was only a few years old...Leave it to a Raider fan to throw a full beer and drench her from head to toe.

Jim Zorn and Dave Kreig were two guys who, had they a better cast of characters surrounding them, would have been much more successful than they were.
As for the rapid fan thing, I stopped attending games at the LA Coliseum after a few "fans" - GANG members groped my now ex-wife. I for one was delighted with the move back to Oakland.

Hey! It required a mere thirty - 30 years for the Seahawks to reach a Super Bowl. Okay. Okay. You're right, the Raiders have been to five Super Bowls in their forty-three years. But, hey, who's counting?
