Default Buying a s2000

Just wanted to ask if anyone bought a s2000 out of state and had it shipped over here to so Cal. I've been in search of a s2000 but sadly the ones in the area aren't eye catching to me. Just wanted to see what's the experience and how things with through if someone done it before. Thanks.

You can rent a car trailer and tow it behind your pickup. I think it's about $50 a day one-way. Much safer than entrusting it to a shipper unless you go with one of the custom car places. And you still need to buy the car face-to-face to check condition, etc.

Half the S2000s in the world seem to be in California.

Yeah there is a lot of s2000 here but most of them are modified, really over price, or bad car fax. Took me almost 6 months to find my last s2k I had here in Cali. Hoping it won't be the same this time around. Just wanted to see if anyone had an experience with it cause I see a lot of nice in the mid west and east coast.

Buy a Miata. I won't judge you lol jk
How modified are the ones in your area? Are we talking exhaust system only or full on flared fenders and stance?

I went to go look at 5 over the weekend two were modified with over fenders, ap2 front and rear conversion when they were both ap1. The other 3 were stock but two have bad rips and patches in soft top. The other was in mint condition from a Honda dealer so I expect. But was 24k which I also expect the price to be high lol

I bought my cr in new mexico when I was living in Washington state. Flew down picked it up then drove it home. Got a speeding ticket within my first 30 of driving but totally worth it
