Does Any one Know of Some High Performance Driving Schools???
Hey guys long time no post! Everything finally got squared away with our S2k after the blond ran into us 
, but now my dad is really interested in a high performance driving class for the both of us. If you have any reccomendations, past experience, or knowledge in this area please help us out. I am searching for one some what close to souther orange county but a little drive never hurts anyone. Thank for the help!

the closest tracks to us that i know of, willow spings and buttonwillow, both have driving clinics regularly. you can check it out at www.willowspringsraceway.com and www.buttonwillowraceway.com. for willow springs, i would do the one on the streets of willow springs track. i haven't been to either of these yet but have heard positive comments from other board members.
another choice is auto-cross - there's both san diego and los angeles chapters. check out the events at www.solo2.com - i don't see another school scheduled for 2002 but driving around cones during a practice is pretty fun. perhaps one of the san diego guys can give you a link for their local auto-x site.

Thanks guys I will check those out! A course program would be fun but I think we are interested in any driving school where they teach you the basics and you gain better controll and knowledge of you veichle.

If you want real driving lessons, Derik Daly holds a 1/2 day to 5 day performance driving school in Vegas. just watch Speed chanel and you will see his comercials.there is also Skip Barber Racing.. and Jim Russel. both ex pros on the IRL circuit. just search on the internet and you will come across them
