1. The entire Repub party is a bunch of sheep right now...no clear leader......they are merely the "No" party with NO counter-plans offered and the American people have had ENOUGH.

The deficit was actually shrinking for about four years until the recent global meltdown.

I think a trillion of that 2 trillion you speak of is a result of the recent bailouts that have been passed by the predominantly democratic congress.

STEALING from the Rich is still stealing. Is it not theft? We all know that what he gives to them will come from someone else. So it is indeed stealing from the Rich and give to the poor. Let's consider the poor. Why in this free country can they not free themselves from a financially bad state. I left home with NOTHING, nothing. I recognize health is the best thing I left home with. Not everyone is so lucky but I've no problem giving to those born less fortunate when it comes to something they can't control. HOWEVER I believe any man or woman in the U.S. can change their fate INCREDIBLY easily. No excuses there.

OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST. The line you said most clearly indicates it. Let me make myself clear. I would love to cure the hunger in the world. I would love to make the poor richer. However I recognize that taking from the rich will never achieve this. Instead it will drag them down or they will simply leave, leaving us all even worse off.

If there was anyone to stimulate, it would be the well educated and already wealthy. For they are the people who can best lead us out of here. It's a tough pill to swallow but it's the truth. Consider why the last tax rebate did NOTHING. It was given to those who needed it. I paid some credit card off with it. If it had gone to my best friend he would have done 1 of 2 things. It would have been spent on junk or it would have gone into his business somehow. BOTH actually help. What I did, was nothing.

This country MUST stop the UNFAIR punishment of the rich. They've done nothing to deserve our hands in their pockets. America should feel ashamed for the rich paying all our taxes.

If Obama is to help/reward ANYONE, it should be those whom already award and help themselves. From THERE it should be THOSE people who help and reward those whom need it most. It should NOT be the government's job. THAT JOB IS YOURS AND MINE!

1. Bunch of sheep? no no, they just lack control in ANY corner of our gov't right now. They are aware of it. Struggling in shackles does nothing but tire ones self. Counter-plan? I think there are certainly counter-plans. The answer is simple. Cut social programs and cut the dollars going to illegals. Make large cuts left and right in spending. THEN MOST IMPORTANTLY CUT TAXES, cut them from top to bottom but cut them from the upper class the most. They should be rewarded with what they've earned should they not? Why should they pay a larger percentage? Who am I and who are you to decide how much they need? Instead let's focus on what WE can accomplish for ourselves.

2. Democrats tend to THINK they know what the country needs. We had a surplus with Clinton. Let me spell out WHY that is. Clinton..... Remember back to 1992 or 1993 days? Do you recall as I do the personal computer just starting to show up in the American home? I grew up literally in sight of Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond Washington. I saw it grow from a small strip into a 15 min long drive through incredibly large offices. Clinton had it easy, endless dollars were being made those days via the tech age booming. Things were good, it would have been hard to have screwed up such an easy time. **We can thank Clinton for much of our current problems actually, what he did was take a loan out that is NOW being repaid.** How is that you might ask? I've posted already on this forum the newpaper article from 1999 spelling out how the Clinton admin is pushing Fannie Mae into making loans they shouldn't. I'll post again if you need it. In any case, he rewarded the poor whom hadn't rewarded themselves, and as a result we are now all paying for them. Our current situation right now is a result of socialism on a small scale. Now just wait for it on a large scale..... people think THIS is a depression? no no my friends. It's going to get much worse. I believe America is right now on the edge of NEVER becoming what it once was again.

Dubya had no chance to turn this around. What could he do with the home loan issue? If he spoke correctly as I would have, the liberals would have said "Republicans are stealing home loans from the poor!". We all know its true. The headlines would have crushed him. Even so if it was me, I would have done it anyway if possible. However the truth is....those people should have never bought those homes, again this is rewarded the poor via the pockets of the rich.

Rapidly increasing deficits and a shrinking economy = o crap. If the economy continues to deflate through 2010, then what will the OBAMA administration do? Spend more until it inflates? Is there any end? What happens if Keynes is wrong?

So far, in his first 30 days, I'd say the OBAMA administration is replete with social policies; the grandest of which is the GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER of Citicorp.
