Got a Damned Ticket
I got caught in rush hour traffic tonight and spent over an hour in the fast lane between Valley and Market on the 60...a total of about 5-6 miles. During my stop, go and crawl, I kept seeing cars with one person driving in the carpool. Although tempted to sneak in, I reluctantly refrained. Approximately near Market St the double yellow lines ended on the carpool lane. I knew the yellow lines didn't start up again, so "thought" that was the end of carpool lane and that it now became an open freeway lane, so I pulled over. Per my luck, a motorcycle CHP pulled over behind me with lights flashing. I explained that I thought the carpool lane had come to an end and that if I'd wanted to pull in illegally I would have done so long before now....(come to find out I accidentally cut in 200-300 yards before it ended). He could have cared less about my explanation and wrote me a ticket.
Does anyone have the URL of the website on beating a traffic ticket.

Sorry to hear that Bob! That really sucks!!!
Sounds to me like he should have let you go with a warning.
Come to think of it, I can't think of any situation where a warning would not be the right thing to do!!!

Sorry to hear about your ticket. The site is www.ticketassassin.com. I've used the methods for two tickets and so far am batting 0.500. A lot of it depends on where you get the ticket and what type of agency. Good luck!

All judges are different. Try takin pictures, draw pictures of the incidents so the judge will have a better view. Worst comes to worst if she still isn't convince, you can always ask her to attend traffic school so it won't show up on your record.
Who knows...Lady luck might be on your side and the cop might not even show up and everything will be dropped
