Hey guys, so I bought a hardtop from rockstar garage, who I believe get there hardtop from duraflex or extreme dimensions, I have had nothing but issues with this top, I have the izzy hardtop street brackets, I had to use 3 washers under the front latches and it still got front wind noise above 70 MPH, the side just behind the window is literally impossible to seal up, I have the top pushed down to the point my windows hit the top, I even took my door panels off and adjusted the window height as low as possible, the rear piece on the trunk lid... the tail of the hardtop? has a 1 inch crack in it, which I could understand as it's hand laid FRP. I dont expect this to be perfect but I would like to be able to drive the car wile either hearing my girlfriend or listening to the stereo, I had to remove the hardtop last night cause I had fear of the upcoming rain getting into my car and causing further annoyances/damages... Do you think I should get a refund? Honestly I cant use this product... The front is sealed tight but when u get up to 70 or so the middle of the top literally begins to flex from being a flexible material and allows air to enter the interior making a loud whistling noise... I've tried everything to adjust the seals and what not, to be honest I dont have the patience, time, or money to fix this one piece to adapt it to my car... Opinions please...
Wow. Good thing I didn't pick one up from him. Why don't you drive over to him with the top, and let him see it, and fix it if possible. He guarantees fitment.

I believe the tops are by "Carbon Creations."

No, you told me to leave you alone, and you owe me $10.
He PERSONALLY came over to my house and helped me install the hard top, after there were still gaps in the rear, the side and the front (yes all three) he said let the sun hit it and it should warp to the shape, give it 2 weeks. After playing with it I got the rear and front gap gone but the side just behind the window was there still but barely, enough to make noise and water in though, but the front still flexes above 65 MPH and lets air in the car, and yes guys I put a little seal on the front, the middle must be warped a bit it's way to flexy if I put my hand there I can literally push up on the top and create a gap with about 5 pounds of force.

It was Alex's recommendation. I didn't like how it came out either.

If you're going through insurance, (They're too expensive) there's a place in Chatsworth that did good on Scotts old silverstone perfect match day, night, or fluorescent light.

I'll try to get that info from him. It was from his first accident, before he totaled it and before hitting that poor old man.

Paul, it's not through insurance. I'd rather pay a little more from the get-go than taking it to another shop to get corrected. Do you still have my number?
