Anyone else give it a try yet?

The player with the fastest combined lap time for both time trial events will win VIP packages to the 2010 Indianapolis 500® Mile Race next May, with one winner chosen from the US and one from Canada.

I've only used the normal car so far.

1'56.852 was the best I could pull off using the controller so far. The analog stick is a little too sensitive and I keep over steering around a few of those tight turns.


I have a GT Pro wheel, but I kind of disassembled it just to see how it was made.

I had top 10 with a Type R on London course.. but they keep resetting the records.

But this is a new stand alone download. It's not part of GT5-Prologue.
There is only one track.

According to the GT website the contest starts today and runs until January 25th.

Nice, you must be in the Top 200 combined. I was around those times last night and was 245 or something like that. I'm sure that ranking has dropped since then but I'll be back in the saddle after work trying for #1!!!! lol

i couldnt find this download for some reason? do i have to but the prologue game first and then download this time trial?.

Search under demos, for ps3, by genre, racing, and Gran Turismo time trial. I used TC = 7 for both cars. TC is not very strong in this demo.
