taco bell for some real mexican food
"cinco de mayo" is celebrated by one town in one Mexican state (Puebla) commemorating the victory of one battle against the French in a war Mexico lost which resulted in French occupation and rule of Mexico for a time. Nobody else in Mexico celebrates it. "dies-y-seis de septiembre" is the real Mexican independence day.
Marketing companies in the USA, however, are making bank on it.
