Thumbs down Interesting Article on HOODS
Typically I try not to start a post w/ just a picture but in this case, it's a scanned article so I feel that's about the same as a copy paste.

I'm not sure I can believe the 40hp gain on a R35 GTR with the hood on vs hood off. I guess it's.... possible though. However the 180SX w/ 240SX motor gaining 7whp is reasonable.

edit.... I'll zoom in the pic in a sec.

Bottom line is they showed a carbon hood that was vented vs the stock hood and they saw a 7whp gain.
