Default It's been 13 years: remembering Dreamcation (Travis Hunt)

It's been 13 years. I remember it like it was yesterday. Dreamcation (Travis Hunt) was a really good guy. I had just bought my 06 laguna blue S from Pierceman (Matt Piercey). back_cracker showed at the point of sale up to take my berlina black 00 S off my hands. For reference only; this isn't about me. I remember Wendy showed up with tears in her eyes. It was a very moving service. Big turnout. Mike, you did a really good job on this. Some reflections from the oldtimers?

I remember the memorial and leading the silverstone group to Eibach. That was definitely a great turnout. Man time flies.

I think of both Travis and Paul, Smirf. Be safe and enjoy each day!

I also remember this quite well, and although I didn't know Travis (or Sherwin) it was a huge impact on the community as they were stellar guys. I recall there was a fund raiser for his baby daughters, does anyone know how his ladies have fared since then?

It's been a long time since i have attended any meets or seen people from S2Ki, but i miss Wendy (and of course you to Bill). After the loss of Travis, I spent many hours on the Ramblin threads with both you and Wendy. Good People.
Phil

Hi, Wendy. Remember my 7/11/04 Angeles Crest run and BBQ. Paul and his GF hit a rock in the road and went backwards for about 500 feet down an embankment (no injuries, S tolaled). I was leading the group, but back home Anne Marie said you were very upset and worried about Paul and his GF. You're good people, Wendy. I hope you and your family are doing well. God bless.
