JD's Police Chase/Police Escort ?
So I got paged into work early this morning, but when I got there, every entrance was entirely blocked by a local St Patty's Day run. At the far end of the run a couple of cops were directing traffic away from the run; I told one of them my plight, he said that they were due to route a truck next to the run right into my business two entrances past where I had to get.
He directed me to the motorcycle cop who was going to lead the tanker truck, and he told me just to follow them. The truck eventually came by at a blazing 5mph, I followed settled in for the slow half mile journey. Suddenly two more motorcycle cops came by going the other way. They turned and fell in behind, hitting their lights behind us, completing the motorcade.
Suddenly it occurred to me that they actually might be trying to pull me over, maybe trying to figure out how I snuck into the area. If that was the case then I was in the middle of my own personal low-speed police chase! I thought maybe I should stop, then thought I should at least play it cool instead... I eventually got to my entrance, and sure enough the cops stopped following the truck and watched me instead. When I got through security they turned and left.
So I'll never know what they were really thinking - I wonder how many other s2000's have gotten a ticket-free gumball escort?

Hey Kevin and Douglas! Man you guys are fast - nice to seeya!
The end of the first quarter is coming up and I have very high-profile deadlines due on a few projects, so except for last weekend's run I expect I'll be working every day this month. Today's page just got me started earlier than I hoped.
Maybe after that things will free up, we'll see. Josiah wasn't impressed with the twisties, too much traffic and too short - but when we don't have the Crest in our Backyard ya have to make do.

Yea, and the weather has gotten crappy again so no rush I suppose..
And the crest, well, it's probably closed anyway so the PV run is more than sufficient..
