I work in LB and saw them putting up the barriers and fences last week.

Then I found out that the roof-top party at the building I work in is only for partners of the company (landmark square aka wells fargo building).

Atleast I have a parking spot...but they charge me $20 daily during the LBGP. wtF

I will likely be there again this year, got to see the ALMS cars for sure.

Parking is free for me, Metro Blueline FTW!

Champ cars are thge real deal. Friday is the best day for walking around -- light crowd and you can sit anywhere. The big race on Sunday is the most exciting.

I wen't to this last year for the first time on sunday. I would think sunday is the best day to go to see the IRL race. The best part for me last year was the drift exhibition at the end of the IRL race. The touring cars were louder than the IRL cars. Saw all kinds of exotics driving together too on the drive there.

IRL doesn't race at Long Beach. This is Champ Car, a different racing series.
