Moving to San Diego Soon
Hey All,
My job will be transferring me out to San Diego shortly ( within the next few months ) from the glorious flyover state of Ohio. I will be working remotely from home for the first year or so prior to them actually getting a brick and mortar office. Where should I start looking for an apartment? I do not require a lot of space since I purge a lot of useless crap prior to any move. I have done some research and north of the city seems reasonable ( relatively ) any ideas would be appreciated on what is a decent area. Any advice you all could give me would be great! Hopefully I will get to attend some meet ups and get to know you all.

Hello and welcome ! (buckeye here). I would check craigslist or any other websites for your first apartment.
It also helps since you're not in the area, I would do a month to month apartment first until you find one you actually want. During the summer, apartment prices (atleast in Orange County), tend to get more expensive apposed to fall apartment prices.
Good luck !
