Hi guys
I need help in finding two Hennessy cognacs. I need to find somewhere in Socal where I can get the Hennessy Private Reserve and the European only Hennessy PureWhite. Thanks for you help in advance.

Damn bro, those are some rare / fine cognacs you're looking for. Good luck, I sure as hell don't know anywhere in So. Cal to buy them personally but if they are available, they'll be in So. Cal no doubt. I found a couple of links you can buy it online though if you're interested. The private reserve is about $159-179 a bottle and the pure white I could only find in 50ml (one shot?? lol) bottles which go for $108.

How about a 750ml bottle of Cognac Ellipse for a small fee of $3,800? No, I'm not kidding. They only made 100 bottles apparently.

I think most airports have duty free stores. Not sure whether LAX has one or not though....

Try John & Pete's liquor:

It's not on their list, but they may be able to order it for you. Great service.

Boys....re: duty free at airports...(1) they won't have rare bottles and (2) they only let you in/sell to you if you have an overseas flight. The San Ysidro border one let's you buy stuff...but you'll have to pay tax unless they actually see you leave.

I thought a foreign passport is suffice? I know that's all my father used to show...I don't know how it is here, but overseas, all he did was show his passport at the cashier....*edit* nevermind, I'm guessing that the store will often be located at the international terminals.
