Default New Years Eve lunch at Camerons and S2000 caravan down the parade route.

I'm hosting a 12/31 noon lunch at Camerons in Pasadena, followed by an S2000 caravan down Colorado Blvd to Orange Grove, waving at the crazies who line the route to spend the night. Who's interested?

If we can get him in the restaurant. Maybe we can pass him off as a seeing eye dog.

Be VERY careful about your caravan down the parade route. In 1999 I was in the Rose Parade and I spent the night on the parade route and during the evening/night of New Years Eve and it was utter lawlessness on the route. People of all ages (including kids) were throwing anything they could get their hands on at the cars driving down Colorado. I smelled weed being smoked and their were empty liquor bottles all over the street. This includes sodas, beers, eggs, trash etc.. Some people were stupid enough to cruise down Colorado with their convertible down and as a result they got crap thrown into their car. Just be careful if you go, I will not be going but that is just what I witnessed. That night I walked from Pasadena Community College all the way to the beginning of the route and it was the craziest and one of the most memorable things I have ever seen. I will bet that going in the daytime will be much safer but if your car gets messed up, do not be surprised.

I'm not talking about the evening. This will be 1:30 in the afternoon. Mrs. Raptor and I do it every year.

Errr....why not just come visit my house while you are at it?

I am like 2 blocks north of Colorado. Anyone want to spend the night drinking at my place and next day watch the parade, you are more than welcommed.
