Default Nightime's Build thread

Well i got my S2000 back in 2007 after my friend had picked one up,I drove his I was hooked and had to get one. So i look for mouths trying to find one for the wright price
and thats when i came across a 2001 NFR with 180K for only 6500 and I couldn't pass it up, and this is when it all started...

[attachment=12952:IMG_0339.JPG]

I had driven the car for a year, I ended up putting on a Apexi N1 exhaust,Berk 70mm Test pipe,AEM V2 intake,mishimoto radiator,mugen fan switch,neo speed springs and after all that it started going down hill with the S2k. lots of check engine lights me and the S were not getting along, my compression was crap mutable miss fire codes and thats when I decided to do my engine swap. I came across a AP2 engine for only 1700 and couldn't pass up a deal like that.

I did the motor swap at home, I had to drop the engine and trans on a flat moving dolly and lift the front of the car to roll the engine and trans out together. The hole engine swap all and all was very easy and got it to start up first try.I am now Running a AP2 motor,AP1 trans,AP1 fly wheel and I am really happy with how everything is running. I also added a new clutch, Mugen thermostat,Samco red radiator hoses, and Hondata manifold gasket since its all a lot easier to do with the engine out of the car.

A few mouths later I end up picking up my hard top, APR mirrors,APR GTC-200, Greddy lip, paint my oem wheel black,the New Berk single exit Exhaust, Buddyclub driver seat rail with a Recaro seat, and custom built coil overs from Apexi

about another year goes by I end up getting a deal I couldn't pass up on some RPF1s in 17x9.5+38 all around and I had to get them. next came making them fit in the front and the rear, I rolled and stretched the front out as far i could get it with out ripping the metal and the rear I just ended up cutting about 2 inches off the rear fenders to make the 255 all around fit. It was all totally worth it I was super happy with how the car felt, I also added the Megen front and read bump steer kit and tie rod ends.

Now that I had my new wheels on the car I picked up some shine auto ASM rear over fender and a C-west rear bumper, and after all the work that had to be done to make the wheels fit I get in a car accident on the way to school and wreck my front fenders, front bumper, Greddy lip, and thats when I decide to repaint the whole car NFR and get a whole new body Kit

[attachment=12969:IMG_1561.JPG]
[attachment=12960:IMG_1569.JPG]
[attachment=12962:IMG_1654.JPG]

I ended up picking up a Full Amuse with body kit from group-S and took the kit and my car over to USA-1 Auto body were they did a amazing job installing the kit and getting figment perfect. I had them weld my rear fenders that I cut,shave my oem mirror holes,antenna,rear key hole,and my rear Honda badge. so my car was in the shop for some time and I started collecting parts in my room for when i got my car back, I picked up a Sparco 330 steering wheel with the Sparco quick release, Spoon 6-point cage,Buddy club passenger seat rail with a new racing seat, after market black head lights and i decided that since the s2k speaks suck so back I picked up 2 kicker door speakers and 2 rear 6x9 speakers that i am going to mount behind the seats also put a kicker TS10L3 sub in the trunk.

So time goes by, The cars now getting ready for paint, getting supper excited

I come back the next day to see how everything went

[attachment=12965:IMG_1717.JPG]
[attachment=12966:IMG_1716.JPG]

I am supper happy with how it turned out and now they just have to sand and polish. A few days letter and I finely get to pick up my car , just in time to make it out to the In&out meet

[attachment=12967:IMG_1754.JPG]
[attachment=12968:IMG_1757.JPG]

Now I am just waiting on my new wheels to come in 18x10.5+15 with a RS3 275/35/18 all around for my car doesn't look so funny with the RPF1s and this weekend i should be able to installing my roll cage,custom mount my APR mirrors on my door and the rest of the parts I got that are sitting in my room. stay tuned for more pics

my plans for 2012 is to get my voltex wing, rebuild my head for high boost and a comptec supercharger

I just want to thank every one that has been helping me out along the way..Berk Technology, Apex'i, Group's, USA-1 Auto Body, and to any one I might of forgotten.

thank you every one for checking out my build tread,

Sincerely Jon
