Shop recommendations for clutch install

Bruh, i dont know if your math is terrible or if mine is worse but Im sorry the numbers just dont add up in my head. A full oem clutch kit with brand new flywheel and all the bearings, new nuts, bolts, guide etc and master and clutch slave cylinder costs around $1000 more or less straight from honda. Lets just say $100 for cost of fluids.
If they charged you $2165 that means you paid $1065 in labor...guess people are willing to pay a premium for not doing some things themselves.
Hope that price includes all new nuts/bolts, honda urea grease, undercarriage pressure wash detail, warranty, and maybe a handjob. Either you paid list price on all those parts or you paid close to $200/hr on labor.
Maybe this is why shops ask their customers to not discuss prices but fu*k, something doesnt seem right. I hate doing clutches but sh*t for $1100 ill do them all day.

The average cost for labor on s2k clutch install varies, depending on how knowledgeable the mechanic is. For shops that know the S2k well, i've seen $350-450 for labor. For shops that need to reference the repair manual, i've seen them quote $800-1000 based on the amount of hours their book tells them. Just need to shop around.

Ill send you a PM with my invoice if you would like. I truly wish I had the mechanical knowledge to do these kind of jobs, that would have saved me a lot of money over the past two years. I paid more than expected but I also never planned to change my clutch twice in two years/ 20k miles.
