Oh.
My.
God.

I saw a few threads on this and was thinking it was that reverse-trike thing with two front wheels...

Now that I know what it is I must have one of these. It's gonna change some plans but I must have one.

This car is technically sold as a track car but they sell kits to enable the buyer to assemble one and you can register it as a kit car. I'm looking into how much it would run without powertrain.....then just pick an engine of your choice....supercharged rsx type s engine or perhaps the engine currently in the lotus elise- supercharged. This would probably cost around $35,000 or so.
Then again the stock form with a civic type r engine already has the power to weight ratio of a Dodge viper. Face ripping-enzo ferrari fast fun for under $40,000 not bad at all.

I've fallen in love all over again!

This car is legal and can be had with a supercharged honda engine for $43,000 or a Gm Ecotech for $46,000. Same HP difference is torque 163# vs. 250#. There are a ton of options but all can be added after purchase. Not bad for a car that will give you enzo thrills...and you'll probably get just as much attention.

Hmmm....I wonder if an STI engine will fit into this sucker....300# of torque!! Dayummmm!!

I thought the car is actually registered as a motorcycle - that's how it gets around various laws.

If so, I have a couple of questions:

1. Is a helmet mandatory?
2. Is it legal to ride solo in the carpool lane?
3. Do you have to pass the motorcycle license test to drive one?

don't know the exact requirements but will find out before I purchase the vehicle (if the stars lign up). I'm willing to jump any hurdle to own a car that performs as well as an enzo. Heck this might even be closer to an F1 experience than an enzo. That experience on a daily basis is worth 50 even 70K if you ask me.

I'm really tempted to use up all that equity we californians have aquired the past few years. Hmmm....$70K loan might be $300 a month-and that is tax deductible!!!
