Default So, which GPS system should I get?

I tried the same question in off-topic, but no one replied. Thought I'd try socal section then Anyways, I'm looking for a gps system for my car...not the most expensive high end one or anything, rather around $400-$500. I'm thinking either tomtom go 300 or the garmin streetpilot c330. Any recomendations? experiences?

I know this has been discussed before, but the thread hasn't actually been updated with reviews.

i have the tomtom 300. pretty satisfied with it's performance. great value! i mounted mine on the lower left window, right above the radio control panel. It doesn't obstruct my view and reachable with move of a finger. Revjunky & shaolin have seen the setup and how it looks at night too.

shouldnt you get a c320 over a c330. reviews seem consistent that the hard drive format of the c330 makes it slower than the solid state c320. and the cost of an upgraded memory card makes up for the higher cost of the c330.

colmugen, is that dash mounted or windshield mounted.

it's windshield mounted and like Rhino i have it on the left above the radio controlled, best location. it's also hardwired to the ignition.

have not tried the c320 but the c330 is faster than my accord OEM gps in finding stuff.
