Wow-
Sorry to hear that! That sounds exactly like what I have been going through at my company. It's all B.S. You know it's actually illegal for a company to pay you later than 7 days past your regular weekly paycheck. If they do, they have to pay you 100% salary until you are paid on top of your owed pay. It's listed under the labor laws and I will be pursuing this to get the money that is owed me from my company. This is a terrible feeling and I can only hope that I am persistent enough and it pays off.
Geez- with all of us in this position we should all start are own company Good luck and keep me posted on your situation.

Sorry to hear about the job situation. I wish you good luck though Josh. I'm on forced days off here (like a 20% pay cut at the moment) but things may get even grimmer (and did in our Mexicali plant...).

sorry silver, but i've been looking for a project mgmt. position myself the last 3 months, no dice. IT market has dried up, and unless you want to take a huge paycut to become a tech support/help desk dude (i'm still debating that), it's not going to be easy.
hopefully when i finish my MBA next year things will pick up.

Geez,
Seems like a lot of people are in the same boat as myself. I have some business ideas myself for starting my own company. It's going to take some time and planning but it's very viable. I'll let the word out when I'm ready to take the plunge. In the meantime, good luck to all of you who are in the same position and I'll keep you guys posted if I hear something.
There are a ton of jobs out there still. The unemployment rate, even though higher than last year is still extremely low. I think it's just a matter of finding the right job that suits you. I'm hoping it just doesn't take too long to find that job. Keep your heads high fellas and good luck!
