Stiffer Clutch Spring Upgrade? oem clutch
My clutch slips when my turbo pushes that 360whp through the plates...
I don't feel like buying an after market clutch, plus the feel of the stock one makes it drivable by my fiancee in emergencies. How about just putting in stiffer clutch springs? someone must make some springs, or i can just go to a spring manufacturer. Maybe even some ti springs so they dont fade after time....or would those be more affected by heat?

There are no "springs" in the clutch assembly. The pressure plate has a round series of metal spokes that act as a spring for the center throwout bearing and these spokes are what press the friction plate into the flywheel giving you the "grab" or lack of grab..."slip" that you are experiencing.

you need to get a better clutch plate before your clutch toasts from all the power. trust me, my car (supercharged to 420 hp) was impossibly hard to drive on the stock clutch after some dyno time, where it just gave out completely. I'm using a six-puck clutch, but ACT street disk + heavy duty pressure plate will hold all your power down w/ near stock drivability
