Default Stock intake

ok so the problems keep rolling in...i went to get my S smogged this morning and the guy pops my hood and tells me i fail automatically because of my Injen Intake. he said it doesnt have the CA approval stamp or whatnot. Does anybody have a stock intake they wanna sell? i got this car and had it registered out of state due to me being in the military so it was never a problem until i came back home to CA. Any help is appreciated guys. thanks

Steve

You should look in the FS section and post a WTB ad

If you have the part number you can contact INJEN for a CARB EO.

call injen in pomona, if your intake is carb eo they will send you a sticker...they will just ask you to take pics of your intake in your bay to prove ownership

I passed smog with an HKS suction intake on my AP1 before and this was at the dealership. Try another place. Goodluck!

btw... i dunno what it's called, but that junction box looking thing where all the vacuum lines go into doesn't look secured. it's normally screwed into the stock intake, but looks like your previous owner just left it hanging. though, it's hard to see from the pics. make sure it doesn't hit any of the spinning stuff.
