You can bolt it into the harness bar or you can wrap around. Most harnesses will come with both attachments. I cant remember if Takata does and Ive owned a few sets =X

As for price, you should be able to pick up a roll bar for how much one Takata cost or even less used...

The takatas that i have owned come presewn with eye bolt clips attached already. So you would need to mount these harnesses to eye bolts, or get the stitching undone if you want to go the other mounting style and wrap them around the bar. The sparco harnesses (the 3" competition kind, not the 2" show/street type) come open ended so you can choose to what type of end piece you would like to use: either wrap, bolt in, or eye bolt. Cusco/safety 21 bars are meant for eye bolts to be mounted to them. Usually when harnesses are wrapped around a bar, they need guides welded onto the bar as well to keep the harnesses from sliding around on the bar.
