Go with your gut. For me, I wouldn't do it. There are so many S2000's out there, be patient and you'll find one you like even more.

only reason why I like the car is because it is white to be honest. I don't care about the go-fast mods.

^ Agree, I wanted it for the price and the color.

I was going to sell all the mods on the forum and convert it back to stock.

I'll speak with his bank (Wachovia) and when I see a fax and call their main office I'll consider it legit.

I don't understand the "vitual title" either. He said they can mail it out in 2 weeks.

The car would have to be extremely rare or I'd have to be in love with that particular car to buy a car across the country. But that's just me.

That's what i was thinking, but in Chicago it's becoming convertible season.

There is a nice BB S2000 2005 with 7000 miles for $24K. That sounds like a good deal to me

Buy mine FTW
I would, but I'm looking for a AP2.

Good luck with the sale!

The car has a lot of mods on it that can be resold making the overall value of the priced paid for the car very very cheap.

I just don't want to take that risk. He said they raced it upwards to 50 times so who knows how they treated it within the 21k miles. The clutch or differential can go out on ya and I doubt the car is under warranty after all those mods.

^^ Wasn't aware of that!

Man I really hope someone's on here that's seen that ride in person. I wonder what happens if he doesn't sell before he leaves for China?
