Those who have Wawanesa
I was wondering if somebody can give me some info on how to purchase insurance from them. I have never purchased my own insurance because I was under my parents policy and was just paying them every six months.
I did a quote with them and they were the best, pricing wise. However, I'm not to familiar with the coverages. All that I am used to hearing is, one way, one and a half, or full coverage. I definitely want full coverage. How will I distinguish between them? If you guys don't mind, can you list your coverage that you have with them and what it covers?
Need to get it pretty soon, so help a brotha out!
BTW, no tickets or accident, fortunately. Lets hope it stays that way. 22 years old

Go to wawanesa's website and fill out the general questions and forms:
http://www.wawanesageneral.com/calif...-prequel01.asp
They'll ask you a bunch of question. Answer them and if you qualify, they'll send you a "menu". This menu will have all their coverages and the price. You pick and choose which ones you want separately. You add up the total. You cut them a check. If everything works out, they'll cash your check and you're insured by wawanesa.
They don't have agents. Thats part of the reason why they are so inexpensive.
I picked the 100/300k coverage with property damage and uninsured motorist coverage. $500 deductible. Wawanesa's quotes are 1 year quotes unlike most other companies which are 6 months.

Try hitting up mmbonbons. She works for Wawanesa. Not sure if she frequents the board anymore though. I have 100/300k, 100k prop damage, 5k medical, 500 deduct, towing, and 100/300 uninsured/underinsured and pay $2100/year for both my s2k and 545i. 23 with 1 accident no point.
