Default Under the car Rattle

Im suspecting it's either my cat or one of the heat shield. I searched but which heat shield is the one im suppose to take off?

The rattling come and goes, it only happens after a drive and i park the car before i shut down the engine, i can hear the rattling.

also if it is the cat and i replace it with a test pipe. Would it make my car louder? the car is already loud as is.

i checked up alot of the possible solutions but nothing is solid. One suggest removing the honeycomb shape thingy in the cat that broke off and cause the rattling. Other people suggested using TP but they tend to break more often than the oem cat. Hi flow cat was one of the suggested but how much do they go for and is there noise increase?

I have a invidia exhaust and that thing is deafening , do not want to add any extra noise to it.

well TP dont break to be honest. ive used both for a while and i mean both cat and TP and no issued with corosion. yes cats do break down over yrs but that all. The tp will add more drone, exhaust smoke at times and smell if added. High flows can either be welded in version which is cheaper or bolt up. try berk, ive used megan TP and other units for highflow cat but now have Berk TP. great product, local pick up and in expensive with true gains.

lets go again.

what year is your car and what is the miles on it?

OEM honda warranty for the cat = 8year / 80,000 miles whichever comes first.

if yours is over, you should have some friends with s2000 *HINT HINT*
