I dont know what could it be rubbing??

I have about an inch of fender gap in the front and just stock wheels with 7.5.

What is there the rub?

Oh and also what are the common areas that will rub a front tire?

It could be foreign. Not part of the car. Maybe a badger or an armadillo.

It could be your fender liner dragging. Just check both sides. Turn the wheels both ways.

Yup!! Beat me to it... Just check haha, you never know, it could be something as simple as a loose fender liner or something stuck in the fenderwell

My guess is that since you are running 255 and installed coils and probably lowered your car you are rubbing on the fenders or bumper. Might need a slight roll and a trim to clear.

I've checked the fender and I can pretty much put my arms around the wheels from any arc of the wheel. literally putting my arms around the tires like bear hugging it.

Nothing is loose, at least from what I can see.

You guys think it can be rubbing the back of the fender? on the right side near the engine?

Pictures!
From all angles.

255 on OEM rears will not rub. No way. Have to be super dumped and catching air somewhere...maybe, call me.

Also check if you snagged a plastic bag or something on your exhaust and the smell is from the bag melting away.

Just re-read his first post Thought he was running wider wheels with the 255 tires. I would take it to Alex @ Ballade or Tony @ Mid-Valley Auto so they can check it out.
