[QUOTE=Bloodred,Dec 15 2007, 01:14 PM]Shure SE110. $99 at Best Buy, great noise-blocking, clear sound with good bass, and they can take a lot of abuse.

I got these for my MP3 player.
Love 'em.

I bought these....they are OK.......a little tinny in the 7-8KHz range.......

Should have bought the Shures.......I still might.

Bought a 1/8" male to 1/4" female adaptor and use my Yamaha headphones. They are smaller than the Sonys so I do not look as bad as Jay does.......

Exactly, when you have good headphones you'll start to notice that 128kbps compressed itunes quality ripped music is crap.

I've never heard of Westone but I have the Shure versions with cusom molds and I love them. I'm actually on my second set. I especially love these at the gym. I can't hear anything outside my headphones and it works great when the gym is in full meat-market mode.

that's interesting. I bought some Skullcandy in-ear headphones for normal day-to-day use and they're awesome. My $15 (on clearance) Skullcandy headphones sounds 100x better than my $50 Sony in-ear.
