5. A morbidly obese porter gets stuck in your car and has to be removed with the jaws-of-life.
6. SH decides to sell your car to another customer and returns to you a rusted 1978 Honda Civic CVCC as a replacement.
Oh, the list goes on...

The risks are numerous.
1. A meteor could land on the dealership and vaporize your car.
2. The hydraulics on the lift fail and your car plummets earthbound to its pancake demise on the hard floor beneath it.
3. A wormhole opens up in the workbay at Sierra Honda and your car is transported to 1867.
4. Greenpeace decides to make an example out of gas guzzling Honda sports cars and spray paints it pink and dumps used car oil and synthetic feathers on it.

i don't trust dealerships...i used to work there...
either do it yourself or bring it to a shop where you can watch them do it.

Most dealerships are owned by Satan.
As much as possible, time permitting, get your hands greasy and do
the work yourself. The pride of being able to point to your car and
say, "yeah I did all the mods myself", gives you a pretty nice feeling.
Oil changes are brain-dead simple--my grandma (who passed on over 20
years ago) could probably still do one.
