Ahh... Going through my picture folder and found couple of pictures of few days old Duc. Between S2K and this, I'm slowly modding both. The pictures were taken in April 05.
pretty...ducs are interesting...they look great in the garage and at the coffee shop..the majority of them just don't perform enough for me...I just don't think I'd ever get one...but you didn't ask so I'll shut up..sorry! NICE PICS!

Odd thing is, most Ducks are owned by us old guys who have had various superfast Jap bikes and who now enjoy days on the track. Perform enough? Maybe if 100 MPH wheelies to impress people are your thing -- then no.
Nice bike M5. I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on the new bikes -- but my 748SPS is not a good street bike any longer. On the hunt for a 998S -- failing that ... 999 I guess.

I was thinking more like............lap times, braking distance, trap speeds, etc...
100mph wheelies are fun too...especially when there's no one watching to impress!
none the less the ducs are beautiful pieces of Italian design..and sound cool!
are you serious??? have you ever watched a little thing called WORLD SUPERBIKE......???? granted ducati lost the WC this year but the 999's were no slouch at all compaired to all the other bikes... and considering in winter testing troy bailis and lorenzo laneli(spelling) have been on top of the time sheets for most of the test's i assume you must be making these rediculus claims out of your ass......
