This car has the ugliest dash in a production vehicle I have ever seen. The guages are cool but that colored overlay crap is aweful. The rest of the interior looks blah too.

Here ia a pic

yeah, i wonder why mitsubishi doesn't just offer the eclipse in AWD. i mean, they already have the technology. it's not like they have to invest loads of time and money to develop an AWD system from scratch. shoot. i'd rather the new eclipse be 3.2L 225hp AWD than 3.8L 260hp FWD. hell, if they REALLY wanna minimize cost, they should just offer a detuned lancer evo motor and AWD system in the new eclipse. i mean, what is better for a manufacturer than to share parts amongst multiple models??
Maybe they don't want to steal sales away from the already slow-selling Evo?

What ever happened to the lost art of automobile design? It seems lately every car has gone down hill. (Element, xB, Viper, everything at Nissan and Infinity, Toyota MR2 spider, Gallant, Eclipse, GTO)

To get utility, you often have to comprimise in terms of style. The Element and xB are prime examples. The Element is also selling like hotcakes.

Viper is ugly? I prefer the old one but the new one isn't bad at all.

Everything at Nissan and Infiniti? What about the G35C? Q45? Heck - the M45 isn't bad, either (old or new).

The GTO isn't beautiful but it isn't ugly. Certainly better than most GM products, in the looks category.

I understand that looks are purely each person's opinion, but I know of no one that thinks a G35C is ugly. Or a Viper. Brutal, perhaps, but not ugly.

Here's a pic of the car with the "sport" package. Notice the front lip...makes it look a little better. Wheels may be bigger too.
