I see an offspring of Scion tC/350Z mix. Oh, and Audi too.

Not bad. Looks better than the current Eclipse.

Not bad, chick car for the masses. If it's AWD with the V6 it will be an interesting tuner car. Alot better than the 3rd gen, which isn't saying much.

Not too bad. I wouldn't buy one, but it's definetly better than the version it replaces. That thing is ugly as shit. Although, the new one has quite the fat ass. They need to shave the E-C-L-I-P-S-E off the bumper, too.

it needs projector headlamps...and the "hump" on the driver sider hood to give it an eclipse signature... and get rid of those front quarter windows. not only do those quarter windows look ugly, but i'm sure they're a nuissance to have. and those taillights definitely need to go!! and replace that piece at the bottom of the rear bumper with a black plastic piece, and the butt will not look so big.

Same here, but it looks to be an improvement over what has been recently offered.

260HP and FWD, not for me

I believe that manufacturers, will have to go to AWD or RWD if they want to continue with increasing the HP to maintain balance and control (ie. Audi, Acura RL). One of the biggest complaints with the Acura TL is the squirrelyness in the front end at WOT in the lower gears, especially if coming out of a turn.

Give me RWD every time.

yeah, i wonder why mitsubishi doesn't just offer the eclipse in AWD. i mean, they already have the technology. it's not like they have to invest loads of time and money to develop an AWD system from scratch. shoot. i'd rather the new eclipse be 3.2L 225hp AWD than 3.8L 260hp FWD. hell, if they REALLY wanna minimize cost, they should just offer a detuned lancer evo motor and AWD system in the new eclipse. i mean, what is better for a manufacturer than to share parts amongst multiple models??
