Default 09 TL test drive

I was suprised that I actually really enjoyed driving the Tl.

the day started out with 02 m3 convertible. good car but has to much rattles from the soft top. Also had high expectations of the car.

Then drove a 328xi and a 335xi. great cars but the awd made the car pretty boring. then drove the TL. very good car. sure the bmw was a bit better, maybe. but i was pretty impressed with the TL. Japanese companies sure now how to make cars.

I tried to get my Dad to get it. He liked the drive but couldnt get over how ugly the beak was too! He's not even that picky. Honda should've done a proper design study or something. He bought an IS350 yesterday instead.

Yeah, it does drive nicely, and I like the interior well enough, but there are better cars for the money imo that look better and drive better. I think the TL is for those people who just want a really nice Honda Accord.

yeah acura makes great cars, with tech, comfort and some what performance. overall my parents have been buying acura's from RL,SLX, 2 TL's, and mdx they love them. acura keeps current tech in each car made within the lineup.

Did you drive the FWD or AWD TL?

For the people who call the TL a snazzed up Accord, OK, in FWD guise I agree with you, but not with SH-AWD.

I agree that this was the case for the previous TLs but the new one is definitely a different animal.

I can't wait to buy mine in a few months - TL SH-AWD. The nose doesn't bother me, and I like the whole profile very much.

i was on the ugly bandwagon when the pictures first came out but on a recent road trip to philly i came upon the rear trunk of a brand new black TL and it was stunningly ... beautiful.

yes i said it.

now the front, i'm sure there's aftermarket grills that can fix that part
