135i review

Nice car! I'd prefer to row my own gears, but you can't argue against the speed of the DCT. In terms of combining performance and everyday drivability, I really don't know of a better car in that price range. It understeers from the factory, but that's not exactly surprising for a non-M car.
I'm curious to see if you ever have any issues putting power down thanks to the open dif. Seems like with that much torque down low it could get tricky at points.
In regards to the seats, I wouldn't worry about it too much. There is NOT a night and day difference in feel. The biggest thing you'll miss, in my experience, is the seat bolsters. Non-sport seats have very little bolstering.

Nice review. I am really strongly considering a used 335i as my next car (and keep the S2K). I am at a similar stage in my life (about to be 29) and want something fun still, but practical (has a back seat). I love the performance of the EVO and STI, but they do look a little too "boy racer". I want something classy, so I am looking at German.

I drove a 2011 M3 last week with the DCT and was stunned at how awesome it is. To me, it has all the advantages of a manual and none of the disadvantages of an auto; it really is the best of both worlds.
Congratulations on the car,dogas!
