Hey guys, I'm just curious what the differences in the 2001 and 2002 models are. I understand that the motors are the same, but what did they do differently? I'm assuming that there are just some cosmetic differences, if so, what are they?? Thanks in advance for any info.

 

I'll start the list off the top of my head.

1. glass window on softtop + defroster
2. Shifter knob leather instead of all alluminum
3. Leather centre console instead of carpet
4. Tweeters in door panels
5. Updated ECU
6. 2 snaps instead of 4 for Tonneau cover.

Someone else can keep the list going....

Red interiors include a red dash .. nasty IMO.

Softer sprint rates
Softer shock valving
Smaller anti-roll bars

 

Try a search -- this has been covered exhaustively several times before.

I'm pretty sure the '02 got stiffer spring rates, not softer ones. I've never seen any description of the shock valving changes other than "revised".
