My brother picked one up about a year ago, 2004 with 38k on it. The car is solid, fast and goes around corners like no other. So far so good, and he is already on a second set of rear tires . The only weak point that car has are the seats. They don't offer much support, but over all its hard to be it for the price. Plus, 3k in mods and you have a reliable 126mph car.

Very short lived Chris..

P.s. whoever said problems w corvette? Not really. Valve springs <$400, CLB <$40, and the tires everyone fear are <$1000 every time. Now insurance is rough but man up!

Not a short affair at all. I LOVE driving it, and may keep it for a street car if the S sells first. Honestly, I added up the cost of track prepping it, then the consumables cost (tires, brakes, gas, etc.) and got cold feet. Running w/ GT3's isn't cheap no matter what you're in! I'm in love w/ the engine, it's such an intoxicating sound and feel compared to the S2000.l

For me, insurance is barely any higher than the S2000.

Some of my friends accuse me of having automotive ADD, and I have to plead guilty as charged. At least it's nice to have actual experience w/ a wide variety of cool rides rather than just talking about them.

Thanks for posting the link. Heads up for you, the Carfax and Autocheck links on your ad have been concatenated so they are broken right now.

I fear that as soon as I test drive a Z06 I'm going to end up wanting it that same day...I'm fighting the urge. But then I see cars like yours with the Electron Blue + mod red and it's hard to resist.

The E46 M3 I was going to buy was rougher than represented - seller used pics that must have been several years old. It also didn't feel nearly as good as any of my cars, so I passed. I'm def keeping either the S2000 or the Z06 now, maybe both.

^ great news!!! Any way to slowly track prep the z06? Rather than drop a bunch of $$$ at once? P.s. syn: I garuntee if you test drive a clean z you'll be driving it home but def wait for a clean one. If you can get to Wyoming there is a black/black+red 2004 z06 with 8,800 miles. Ya I said less than 9,000 miles... if I had a buyer for my z ($24k) I'd happily spend the $26k she (who is/was the soul owner) is asking!

Im getting a Volant duel cone, cold air intake in the mail soon! Can't wait to hear it roar

Yeah, I'm starting to think along those lines. So I might end up with a $30k investment, it should run with GT3's worth 3+x as much.
How did u pick the Volant intake? I'm not focused on power, but may add an intake because they're easy and cheap.
