Well. . .the "Escalade" from Cadillac does NOT have 3rd row seating, but, the powers-to-be at GM have created an Escalade that is going to be the same size as a Suburban (like the Denali EXT from GMC), they have named it the ESV and it starts around $57k. This, of course, will have a 3rd row seat! Here's a picture and link:

Hope this helps.

ahhh. helps, but i think the ESV does not look well proportioned for some reason.
hmm. i guess this idea will be thrown out as my sister is looking for a suv with 3rd row seating.
thanks for such quick response mr. airgate.

According to the booklet that was given to me at the Auto Show by the Cadillac rep, it shows that the 2002 Esclades do have a 3rd row seat. I just looked thru the booklet to verify and it has a interior shot of the seats and it does have the 3rd row seats.
If they are anything like the 3rd row seat option in the Dodge Durango, it's a hit and miss. Not all of them have the 3rd row seats, only some of them have it, even if it's was built in the same year. I opt for the folding 3rd row seats in my Durango because sometimes I got friends that want to go places, but we don't want to take too many cars then it's very handy to have that 3rd row.
