Default 2003 RSX

i work at a toyota dealership and im pretty new to the field.. last week we get a customer that got a used car from us which was a 03 RSX with a k20a3 i believe (non type s with a 5 speed tranny) .. came back 10k miles later with a cel and no 4th gear. pulled codes and found p0134 , p0300, 301 302 303 and 304

it has 54000 miles on it now

did a compression test and found number 2 to have only 65 psi and the rest at 175+ psi

burnt or bent valve was my diagnosis.. as for the 4th gear being out.. they fawked it up some how cuz it doesnt even go in when the cars off..

i recommended head removal to find out the problem and a new/re manufacturer tranny from honda/acura

never removed any head of any car and i had limited help at work.. took me forever but finally got the head of and too some pictures.. sprayed brake clean inside the intake and exhaust sides too see if it would leak out of the values.. cuz just a visual look at them.. i couldnt tell anything wrong with them.. well two of the exhaust values on number 2 leaked.

sounds like someones been racing and missed shifted .. messed up the valves and took out 4th gear.. since i cant prove it.. extended warranty may cover it but i have to take it all apart / head and tranny before we can call extended warranty to tell them what it needs and see if its covered.. be the customer is paying for the tear down of the head and tranny now till after all is done and see if the warranty will over it..

anyways heres the pictures and i just liked to share..

dont mind the coolant .. i put it there to see if the rings are bad
