Default 2007 Maybach 57

One of my co-workers claims to have taken delivery on a 2007 Mayback 57 this week. I am not sure which version it is. He is saying he will bring it to work soon and that I can take some photos of it. I'm kind of interested to see what it is like, although those type of cars have never appealed to me very much.
I can't find much info online about it. Edmunds has a little info

those cars cost mad money. Not my type of car, but it would be cool to drive one or RR Phantom.

He should have bought the new MB S550 and saved $275k.

Not my cup of tea, either, but they are very impressive in person.

A friend of mine in his early 20's was loaned one for a few days by his uncle who owns a MB dealship. He loved driving it and said he wanted to keep making 130mph blast over and over again on the freeway.

Your coworker makes too much damn money!

I mean, reeealy Buffy...if you can't afford a driver so you can ride in the backseat of your Maybach, then you might as well step down and drive any old Mercedes.

Really, why buy a Maybach if you're going to drive it yourself? It's rather cumbersome and made specifically for the passenger. Maybachs are pretty ugly on the exterior, but superb on the interior (back seat). The S65 AMG would be a better option.
