I'd get your deposit back and go w/ the Duc 1098 instead. It may be the coolest production Ducati ever!

Nice R1, when I first saw the 1st pic posted the R7 popped up in my head probably just cause the paint sceme. And dont waste your money on a Duc unless you are a Ducati Enthusist.

I can't see how it looks any better than the current model.

I'm not sure I like the direction they're going with styling. Same thing with the 07 600RR. I was planning to get one, but when with an R6 instead. I guess less is more for some people.

What better way to show your ignorance. The price gap between the Jap. literbikes and the Duc superbike is narrower than ever, and the Duc should finally perform at parity (if not better than) them w/ a significant extra "cool" factor/sound the Jap bikes can't touch. 381 lbs./160 hp was unimaginable in a Duc until now - supposedly the base model outperforms the old 999R.
