not everybody is looking to get the cheapest "new" car they can.

i myself would not buy a "new" car that is already two years old, especially if one is financing you will get a 5 year loan vs a 6 year loan since the car is already 2years old
if i am buying an 08 its going to be used to save A LOT rather than a few grand less than a brand new model year.

other than that, i have not heard anything on release yet.

Didnt mitsu say there wouldnt be an 2010? Its just a carry over due to the surplus of vehicles. Or was that 09?

thought mitsu said no 09s, hence why the 08s are still cheap?

There are no 09s because the 08s were released so "late"- January 08 I think (tyhpical MY would be late summer/early fall 07). But there is more going on than that I think. The economy and Mitsu is struggling big time.

Anyway I would prefer 2010 because I am not ready to purchase now and do want the sun roof.

thx. sounds like we have to wait for Mitsu to announce.

We will see but i don't think there will be any changes due to the 08 were the new model compared to the evo9. Have u drove all the evos yet?? There is the 8,9 and now 10 i have drove all and owend a 8. Now i would say i love the 9 the best out of them all. If ur looking for a mod/track car get a 8 if its a dd get a 9 for sure there cheap and much more fun thana 10

NockM is on the ball. That is about the only major change on the car. I think it's ridiculous they're offering a sunroof option on the car though. With all the little details that conform to the performance aspect of the car...they add on something completely anti-performance.

In the prior years with the 8 and 9 with the sunroof...was the roof steel or aluminum? I figure they may have to add a bit of weight to reinforce the top for the sunroof. Even with the lower slung roofline of the X compared to the 8/9...it's still a tall car. I don't know if you'd want to put more weight on top.
