seems like the name clashes with the look of the car.
Evora sounds like a dark, evil, dangerous, sinister object that thinks nothing of posted speed limits and sound ordinances.
The car looks too nice and pretty for its name.

...a quick search on the internet for the name Evora returned only the name of a city in Portugal...and these photos...

Nice but a bit heavy for what I think a Lotus should weigh. 280hp, close to 3000lbs. Why not just get a Cayman? 2600lbs would have made it more competitive.

Looks like they filled the Evora with more creature comforts which of course adds to the weight... Bear in mind it's also a prototype...I just hope it doesn't ADD weight...
