I love the way it looks inside and out - very exotic and graceful at the same time. But getting 280hp from the 3.5L (probably the same engine in IS350) is weak sauce. It didn't mention direct injection so that may be the difference. I would expect Lotus to improve upon the Toyota engine, not detune it. Perhaps they purposely sandbagged it to create margin for a higher model. I hate it when mfr does that.

seems like the name clashes with the look of the car.
Evora sounds like a dark, evil, dangerous, sinister object that thinks nothing of posted speed limits and sound ordinances.
The car looks too nice and pretty for its name.

I love the cars Lotus makes, however, I do believe it needs a drop in weight. I was expecting this to come in around 2500 lbs. It needs another 100-150 horsepower to compete at that weight and that price point. I don't understand why they didn't supercharge it from the factory.

Quick thoughts.
Why 2+2? From the last pic the back seats look completely useless ecxept maybe to hold a couple grocery bags? Ditch em and save 400 pounds.
I love the looks.
Is kinda pricey (I read $70k+) and I thought I read somewhere else, not coming to the US.?.?.?

Anyway, I think it looks awesome. However, I too am a bit surprised by the weight. And at getting only 280 ps out of 3.5 liters.
